For every house is built by someone, but the builder of all things is God. – Hbr 3:4 ESV

Have you ever built anything?  Not just assembled something like you do when you buy a desk from IKEA.  I mean built it, where you design something planning out its function, how it can be assembled, and  the materials that it would take to make it and then you begin to fabricate each piece to fit into a final project.  It is ridiculous the amount of work that it takes to make a nice desk.  How much more a house?  How much more a Spiritual House?

God is in the process of building “His House” here on the campus of NMU.  No, it is not a building like we think of; it is the body of Christ, the church.  We are “His House”!  God did not just go to the Store and buy a Church and assemble it here, He carefully planned out each and every part working on it to fit His design.  You are not here at this university simply to get a degree although that is what you might think, you are here because God desires to make you into a part of something Great, and what can be greater than being the dwelling place for God!

I don’t know how you fit in, whether you a truss or a stair tread, but I do know that this House is not complete.  God’s work here on campus is not done.  He has more building to do!

Come fellowship with us, be challenged, and discover what God has designed you to be.  I am betting it is more than you ever planned or hoped for.
